No Motor Anglers Club schedules inaugural meeting

The No Motor Anglers Club has scheduled its inaugural meeting at 7 p.m., Jan. 12 at Gilchrist Park, 400 W. Retta Esplanade, in Punta Gorda.

The club is dedicated to kayak, canoe, wading and land-based anglers. The club was formed to promote and expand fishing opportunities for those who do not have a motorized fishing vessel. In addition, the NMAC will focus on preservation and conservation.

Steve Gibson's Southern Drawl Kayak Fishing is southwest Florida's premier kayak guide service. Catering to anglers of all skill levels, Southern Drawl concentrates on fresh- and saltwater fishing from Tampa Bay to The Everglades.

We have a fleet of two NuCanoe Frontier 12-foot kayaks and a 13 1/2-foot NuCanoe Pursuit.
