Still, you should always be careful.Steve Gibsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00061487106810102520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2925958023989982071.post-74818800399723761942011-02-03T11:59:02.332-08:002011-02-03T11:59:02.332-08:00Howdy from Texas, Steve.

I'm glad I came across your blog and for sure will be back for more.

Since you posted the image of this pretty nice gator, I got a question for you.
Have there ever been any gator attacks towards kayaks reported in FL?
We have quite a few gators around here too but I never really have seen any while fishing from the yak. I usually fish medium to bigger size lakes or the bay area. The last time I saw some gators close, for my personal taste even too close, was while night fishing with a friend and his kids from the banks of an actually small lake in SE Texas. There were at least 8 or 9 and some of them in the 10ft range coming up again a little bit closer to the banks each time after we saw them diving. For the kids safety we quit fishing that night.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2925958023989982071.post-7366783033646499502011-02-02T16:36:26.648-08:002011-02-02T16:36:26.648-08:00Hello Steve!
